Rubber Hex Dumbbells
Rubber dumbbells, such as are made out of iron but the heads are then coated with thick protective rubber. These are great to help protect your dumbbell racks and gym floors. They also tend to be quieter for those users that like to “bang” their dumbbells together at the end of a chest press or similar exercise. As with most rubber products, they might tend to have that distinct rubber smell but this usually dissipates over time. You see rubber hex dumbbell sets frequently used in light commercial gyms and personal training studios.
